Here are a couple things submitted by Laurie Davenport - Camp # 48. Martha Clark Adriance (Harlow’s sister) is on left, but we’re not sure who the other lady is. Note the rates charged for the electrical work.

MIPCA - In Days Gone By

The photo on the left shows a few of the “early arrivals” enjoying a day on Second Beach. This was taken in 1911 and shows Ernest and Olive Pearce, Olive’s parents Edward and Kate Mitchell. and some friends. The photo above is of Camp Gwamp shortly after its construction in 1913.

This recent photo (2025) taken by Dave and Linda Pearce shows the name J B Annerman, July 19, 1867 carved into the rocks at water-level on the SW coast of Partridge Island. This inscription was first discussed in the original Middle Island Point history book written by Bernie York in 1942 (pg. 28).

The name of the boat is CORA.  Cora Young was the wife of Roscoe Young and mother of Ethel & Ruth Young (owners of camp #24 1927 - 1971-ish)
