This page was added to the MIPCA website to list a number of best-practices related to fire prevention and control.

Here are some general suggestions:

• Work with neighbors to collectively purchase and place long garden hoses to use in fire-fighting if needed - developing a neighborhood network of water sources.

• Purchase fire extinguishers - and familiarize family members and neighbors with their placement.

• Maintain a “clean”, brush-free campsite.
