Note: Where referenced in the Stock Transfer Process Document linked above, the current Stock Transfer Fee is $100.00. Families who are considering stock transfers as a part of estate planning are encouraged to deal with stock transfer matters far in advance of any time-sensitive, critical need to do so. Securing Membership approval of the transfer, and the preparation and execution of necessary documents can be time consuming.
BILLING AND PAYMENT PROCESSING OPTIONS:
For those members choosing to pay their First Beach taxes directly to the Association via check, the current amount due should be mailed to: Range Bank, Middle Island Point Tax Account, 100 N Front St., Marquette, MI 49855.
Members choosing to pay their MIPCA Annual Dues directly to the Association should mail their $400 check on or about April 1st to: Chris Bird, Secretary / Treasurer, 57 Middle island Point Rd., Marquette, MI 49855
To access the enrollment form used to set up your MIPCA ACH (Auto-Draft) payment option for dues and First Beach taxes (as detailed in the above chart), click HERE. RECENT PROPERTY TAXES:
The City of Marquette Summer Property Taxes are now due. the amount is $128.68 per campsite (($7206.17 / 56 = $128.68). This is an increase of $7.20 per campsite over last year’s assessment. If you’re enrolled in the ACH Automatic Electronic Transfer, the actual draft will occur on September 11, 2026. If you pay directly, please submit your payment to “Middle Island Point Tax Account”. Address: Range Bank, 100 N Front St., Marquette, MI 49855. See below for an image of the actual Tax Statement from the City.
To review a copy of the Winter 2025-26 2/14/2026 tax bill from the City of Marquette for our “First Beach” tract (which our Secretary/Treasurer divides by 56 and bills each campsite), click HERE. In the case of the tax bill made available via the link here: $438.41 / 56 = $7.83.
The 2025 First Beach Summer Taxes were $120.88 per campsite. Calculations are: $6,769.08 / 56 = $120.88. As noted above, if you are enrolled in ACH payments to MIPCA, a draft in the amount of $120.88 will take place on 9/11/2025.
